My book and audio CD combo was published in April 2014 following the earlier success of the book as a stand-alone product. The audio CD was added as a way of allowing people with visual impairment to enjoy some of the magic places in Scotland. Not only will they enjoy the twelve tracks or “soundscapes” from across Scotland but those who may not always make best use of their ears when out and about will enjoy the many familiar and unfamiliar sounds to be heard from the shores of the Atlantic to the summit of the Bass Rock. A whole new way of understanding just what a wonderful place the Scottish countryside is.
